Naturally, Quinn saw a corresponding boost in book sales, and her twenty-year-old Regency romance went skyrocketing up best-seller charts. It premiered just six-ish months ago, and has already been watched by over 82 million households, making it the most-watched-ever series on the platform. She was always very popular among romance readers, but the Netflix adaptation has catapulted her into the mainstream. ![]() Originally, she envisioned the Bridgerton books as a trilogy, but the series grew and there are now eight full-length novels (one for each of the children in the fictional family), plus a few extra bits and pieces.
